Copper or brass reacts with sour food, salt and lemon which can be harmful for the body. Therefore, they are not recommended to eat or cook in. Whereas, Kansa or Bronze does not react with sour acidic food. It is one of the best metals to cook and to eat in . Bronze has been used for cookware from time immemorial and it ensures the well-being and maintenance of our health.
For centuries bronze Uralis have been the first choice when it comes to Ayurveda formulations and for temples in South India. These Uralis are huge and heavy which are not ideal for day-to-day cooking. Hence, we have designed a sauté pan which is perfect for the modern kitchen while retaining its traditional roots - A perfect marriage of traditional technique and modern utility.

Positive: I loveee the bronze material. It's so smooth, solid, and very non-stick. It also looks so luxurious and the benefits are amazing.
Negatives: My casserole came with a weird bulge in the center, the lid doesn't fully fit, and the handles could have been covered in wood because I didn't think they'd get as hot as they did and I burned my hands. Teak wood handles on a brass frame handle would have been far better. The same goes for the brass knob on the lid. It gets even hotter than the glass! Having to always use a cloth to hold while stirring/cooking is annoying. But aside from this a beautiful base and lovelyyyyy size. Despite the distinct drawbacks, I find myself wanting to cook in it every day.

Solid pan that looks great and works well for everyday cooking.
Perfect size for family meals, and the handles stay cool while cooking.
Love that bronze doesn’t react with acidic foods—feels much safer for daily use.
